Large-scale Moscow's Attacks Eliminate Electricity In Ukraine's Capital

Power facilities under attack in Ukraine
The country's power facilities have faced escalating attacks in the past few days

Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have resulted in electricity outages in large parts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were wounded while local people in the city's east were experienced blackouts and dealt with interruptions to water systems, as stated by local authorities.

Meanwhile, a young boy was lost their life in a different aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, based on information from regional authorities.

Moscow has intensified attacks on power infrastructure over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "real steps" from allies to exert influence on Russia.

"What is required is not window dressing but decisive action - from the United States, European nations and the G7 - in providing air defence systems and implementing sanctions," he wrote in a social media post.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and over thirty missiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Russia was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were laboring to fix the damage.

A series of attacks struck power facilities and residential structures in Kyiv.

Several of the people hurt in the attacks on the city have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by local officials.

Regional authorities said the urban area endured significant strikes during nighttime hours. A minor lost their life and several individuals were injured.

The strikes come after periods of bombing campaigns in the area, parts of which remain under the control of Moscow's military.

All of Ukraine is on alert for advanced weapon attacks, which are harder to spot.

National leaders told reporters that Moscow was intentionally trying to demolish the country's energy grid, with assaults already affecting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed utility staff and officials were bracing for further attacks.
